12 of the 107 say you can: Aire Valley Marina (liveaboard by arrangement), Cambridge City Council Residential Moorings (residential moorings with planning consent), Dart Harbour, Galmpton (residential moorings with planning consent), Mayroyd Moorings (residential moorings with planning consent), Saltisford Canal Centre (liveaboard by arrangement), Sileby Mill Mooring Basin (liveaboards allowed), South Dock Marina (liveaboards allowed), Sutton Stop Marina (liveaboards allowed) and 4 more. Living aboard can need planning consent and council tax; ask each site about its terms.

On top of the mooring fee: of these, 24 need a Canal & River Trust boat licence, 25 need Environment Agency registration (Thames, Medway, Anglian waterways), 3 need Broads Authority tolls, 1 need lake registration where the lake authority requires it and 5 need the navigation's own licence. Coastal marinas usually need none.
