About Fairies Hill Moorings
A family-run moorings site on the Aire & Calder Navigation at Whitwood, with a second site at Altofts Cut.
Fairies Hill Moorings is on the Wakefield arm of the Aire & Calder Navigation. The operator says it accommodates all types of boats and also runs the Altofts Cut site with finger moorings for smaller boats.
The Fairies Hill site has water standpipes, cassette emptying, and a car park. There are no electric hook-ups or pump-out facilities. Mooring fees are available by enquiry.
