About Venetian Marina
A narrowboat marina and boat sales site at Cholmondeston on the Middlewich Branch, with about 150 pier berths and a few canal-side moorings above Cholmondeston Lock.
The marina is near Nantwich, with Middlewich and the Trent & Mersey in one direction and the Shropshire Union main line and Llangollen Canal in the other. It also runs a brokerage selling narrowboats.
Piers are 60ft long, with a limited number of places for boats up to 70ft, and each has lighting, water and electricity. A handful of canal-front moorings above the lock have no electric hook-up but are near a CRT water point.
Moorers have wi-fi, a laundry area and their own toilets and showers. A tea room, a chandlery and hire boats are run on site by separate businesses.
