About Shaldon Beach Trot Moorings
Teign Harbour Authority manages beach trot dinghy spaces at several beaches in Shaldon.
Beach trot spaces are on a trot line extending down the beach between the high-water and low-water lines. Shaldon sites include Strand at Ringmore, Ringmore, St Peters, Riverside, East Riverside and the Clipper.
The authority says trot spaces are used where space is available on a first come, first served basis. Boats on a trot need a current permit and must be upright, afloat and regularly bailed out.
