About Seaport Marina

Scottish Canals' pontoon marina in Muirtown Basin at the Inverness end of the Caledonian Canal, with leisure and residential berths for yachts, cruisers and widebeams.

Seaport Marina occupies Muirtown Basin in Inverness, just above the sea locks at the eastern end of the Caledonian Canal. It is run by Scottish Canals and also houses the Caledonian Canal office.

Leisure berths are on 8m and 10m finger pontoons taking boats up to 11.5m and 14m long, and residential berths on 12m fingers take boats up to 16m long and 4m wide. A few larger craft can lie on the wharf. Traditional narrowboats are not accepted.

Berths have 16 amp electricity and water, and there are showers, toilets, laundry, diesel, refuse and waste oil disposal and parking. The pump-out is at the top of Muirtown Locks. A Scottish Canals navigation licence is needed on top of the mooring fee.
