About Rufford Top Lock
A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring site on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal near Burscough.
The moorings start about 50 yards east of Glover Swing Bridge, with access from Wheat Lane.
A water point is available at Bridge 1 for all boaters. Elsan and water facilities are at Burscough Bridge, about a mile away; parking is not available at the site.
The site is for leisure use. Overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but full-time residential use is not suitable.
