About Norbury Wharf
A traditional boatyard at Norbury Junction on the Shropshire Union with linear moorings on the main line and in the disused Newport Branch arm, open seven days a week.
Norbury Wharf runs a boatyard, hire fleet and tearoom at the junction where the old Newport Branch left the Shropshire Union main line in Staffordshire.
Main line moorings are along a concrete-piled bank with a decked edge and gravel path; some have electricity and water. The offline moorings lie in the first stretch of the disused Newport arm near the dry dock, each with a metered electric supply and water. Parking is provided for both.
Long-term, winter, short-term, weekly and overnight moorings are offered. Long-term moorers get discounts on docking, blacking and painting after a year. The yard sells diesel, gas and solid fuel and does pump-outs.
