About Newbold L1 Leisure
A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring site on the Oxford Canal near Newbold-on-Avon, with space for up to six vessels along the towpath.
The mooring site is approximately 200 metres long, immediately north of Bridge 51, Greens Bridge. It is intended for leisure use, with overnight stays and occasional longer visits welcome, but it is not suitable for full-time residential use.
Drinking water is approximately 400 metres north. The nearest elsan and refuse disposal point is at Hillmorton Locks, around 3.5 miles south. These facilities are not part of the mooring agreement, and there is no designated car park.
