About Lower Halstow Yacht Club
A members' yacht club on Lower Halstow Creek with swinging moorings in a tidal part of the River Medway.
The club says its moorings are swinging type, with each boat attached to a sinker by a buoy, riser chain and swivel. Boats settle on the mud at low tide.
Membership is by application and committee approval. The club publishes annual mooring fees and states that mooring users also pay the Peel Ports conservancy fee. Winter lift out and storage are available subject to numbers.
