About Lodge Hill Galgate L1 Leisure

A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring site on the Lancaster Canal near Galgate, with towpath moorings for up to four boats.

The site is about 90 metres long in two sections, with visitor moorings between them. Boats moor against the towpath using installed rings; pins may also be needed depending on boat length and ring spacing.

The site has drinking water, no vehicle access and no car park. It is for leisure use and is not suitable for full-time residential use.
