About Lichfield Cruising Club
A members' cruising club at Huddlesford Junction with linear moorings on the Wyrley & Essington Canal and berths in a newer basin.
Lichfield Cruising Club offers mooring membership for boat owners and says applications are normally welcomed. The club has more than 3,000 feet of mooring, mainly on the off-line Wyrley & Essington Canal and in a basin built in 2022, plus a limited number of moorings on the Coventry Canal main line.
The club says most moorings accommodate boats up to 57 feet, with longer boats more limited on the main line. Members can use the clubhouse, dry dock, pump-out and Elsan disposal, and buy gas and diesel from the club.
