About Grand Sluice Lock L1 Leisure Mooring
A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring on floating pontoons on the River Witham at Boston.
The site has six leisure berths on floating pontoons and is not for residential use. Each berth has smart meter electricity and the site has two drinking water points.
Access is through a padlocked gate requiring a standard BW key. Elsan disposal and refuse facilities are provided by the local waterway team and are outside the mooring agreement. The Environment Agency lowers the river level in winter for flood alleviation, and boats may ground.
