About Dukes Lock

A 250-metre leisure mooring site on the Oxford Canal at Dukes Lock, north of Oxford.

Canal & River Trust describes Dukes Lock as a leisure mooring site for storing boats between periods of use. It is accessed along the towpath from bridges 230 or 235.

Drinking water taps are available along the towpath. Refuse and Elsan facilities are about 700 metres south of the site, and there is no parking at the mooring site.

Kinds: linear mooring
No liveaboards: The Trust says this leisure site is not suitable for full-time residential use and has no planning consent or infrastructure for long-term living.
