About Crabtree Lane L1 Leisure

A leisure mooring site on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal at Burscough, with linear space for up to 20 vessels on the off-side bank.

The site is approximately 290 metres long and has mooring rings; pins may be needed depending on boat length and ring spacing.

The nearest Canal & River Trust water and Elsan facilities are at Burscough Bridge, about one mile away. There is no car parking or facilities block at the site.

The Trust says overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but the site is not suitable for full-time residential use.
