About Conwy Harbour Moorings

The council-run harbour authority moorings on the Conwy estuary, with more than 400 leisure moorings and pontoon berths let on annual permits.

Conwy Harbour Authority, part of Conwy County Borough Council, manages more than 400 leisure craft moorings and pontoons in the Conwy estuary from its office on the town quay, plus a further mooring area off the breakwaters at Rhos-on-Sea.

Annual permits are charged per metre and made up of a mooring fee and harbour dues, with a lower rate for Conwy residents and separate rates for small trot moorings and for berths on the Marine Walk and beach. Annual rates are quoted before VAT.

Permit holders can use a car park, boat storage, electricity cards, power washing and two scrubbing berths. A water taxi in the estuary is run by the North Wales Cruising Club, not the harbour authority. Mooring applications are made online.
